Last Thursday I kissed my kids and husband goodbye and headed for Las Vegas. On the plane I met a fabulous couple (That has roots in Platteville of all places, remind me to tell you Paul). Anyways when I told them that I was headed off for a girls weekend with my best friends in the whole world, no kids, no husband. They did the wink wink, nod nod and said remember "What happens in Vegas....stays in Vegas" I am sure they assumed I was in for a fun-filled, crazy, adventurous weekend. I had to laugh.
We do get a little crazy on these girls trips....
Sometimes when we are feeling really wild we pull out the crafts. Lindsay even taught us to crochet! I know it is CRAZY INSANE!!!
Then when we are feeling over-the-top adventurous we head to the temple.....
And when we want to SPLURGE we go to Wal-Mart LATE, pick up a few groceries and whip up some good eats. If we are feeling really rebellious we might even stuff our faces after midnight!!!
Like I said........get's pretty CRAZY!

Funny! It is fun to see some of the old gang! It is so fun to get away, isn't it?
p.s. was that the famous crab bread?
That was actually a stuffed garlic bread. You just slice the bread almost through but not quite. Then spread garlic butter inside and stuff it with tomatoes and fresh mozzarella cheese.
We only had shredded parmesan so we stuffed it with that and sprinkled some on top. It was yummy. We dipped it in balsamic vinegar. Yum Yum.
Oh that sounds like a blast! The crazy things you do all grown up!
