Venting.....and Puking........(Day 9)

It's midnight..... and I just got home from the grocery store with Will  (yes....Will came with me because Josh put him down for a nap from 6-9 p.m).  The people stocking the shelves probably thought I an irresponsible mother taking my child out at midnight, but oh-well. 

he also had mismatched pajama's and socks and was looking a little homely. 

So why was I at the store.....because everyone is puking at my house and I needed to buy some Sprite and saltine crackers.  See I have been in Denver all day and Josh has been home with the kids. They  went to Disney on Ice with Grandpa Paul and Anita.  Addy got sick at the show and puked............ now Josh is sick and throwing up too. Lovely.  I don't think it was something they ate but more or less a little 24 hour bug ( I am crossing my fingers that I don't get it)

Side note: The kids did love the Disney on Ice even though there was some puking involved, they want to see it again next year and told me "YOU HAVE TO SEE IT MOM, IT'S SO COOL!!!"

Now all this puking has really put a damper on things but that is not what I am venting about. I am slightly......just a little.....O.K. really emotionally explosive  about the headline that I  just read.  

The U.S. is about to announce their plan to buy up toxic assets from banks and plans on spending 1 TRILLION dollars to do so!!!! What the #$@$%$. Are you serious. Does this bother anyone other than me?  Now here is the kicker......... they are going to go ahead and do this without the consent of Congress (which means without the consent of the people)!!!!!!! 

I think George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and the other Founding Fathers will be rolling in their graves on Monday!!!  

REMEMBER THE CONSTITUTION'S MAIN PURPOSE WAS TO TIE THE HANDS OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.  THEY NEVER INTENDED THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES TO "USE EXECUTIVE AUTHORITY TO DO ANYTHING" Let alone spend 1 trillion dollars, and buy up the banks.  Let's see now the government will own your house, your bank, your insurance, your healthcare (coming soon), the auto industry and more!!! 

Also you know the money that we have is just a "FIAT" currency (which means it is backed by NOTHING, not gold, not silver NOTHING.)  So the government PRINTS THE MONEY, INFLATES THE MONEY and who loses..........well you and me (the middle class) because pretty soon we will be paying higher prices FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!
